Bill McCallum, a staff instructor for MLB Umpire Camps is the lead instructor for all umpire programs.  A former professional umpire with over 30 years of umpiring experience, a graduate and former instructor of the well respected Wendelstedt Umpire School in Florida, Bill umpired games at all levels of minor league baseball from 1982 to 1990 including the AAA International League, Major League Baseball spring training and the Venezuela Winter League.

 

McCallum, an experienced trainer and public speaker, is currently the NCAA's Northeast Regional Advisor to the National Coordinator of Umpires.  He has conducted numerous clinics for professional league managers, professional baseball teams, umpire associations and other baseball organizations all around the United States.

 

Most recently, Bill has successfully conducted several teen umpire training programs in metro-Boston communities.  He is also a sales representative with Gerry Davis Sports, a leading supplier of officials’ equipment and apparel.

Bill and his family currently live in Danvers, Massachusetts.
